Country Roads

Country roads
No, I’m not going to go all Olivia Neutron Bomb on you, but I’m on holiday enjoying being in the country, and you can’t get more country than country Western Australia. Off the beaten track, fishing from a deserted beach with salmon running and sharks abounding, stunning scenery all around, and on the road a car passes every 20 mins or so. The people are just nicer, the air clearer, I sleep better, and more than anything, my stress leveled disappear as soon as I cross the Narrows Bridge and head out of the city. I love getting out here with my family, and especially giving my young kids a chance to get out and about, into the woods, walking down the beach, exploring rock pools, cycling up hill and down dale. Wonderful.

I guess I’m a country boy. Always have been, always will be.
