He co-founded aussiehome.com\, ran it for 10 years before REIWA acquired it\, whereupon Charlie ran reiwa.com. In 2013\, he moved to Business News\, became CEO\, and for the past 3 years has worked for a federal government startup fund. \nHe now works in an advisory capacity for multiple tech and other businesses\, is managing editor of Startup News and co-host of the Startup West podcast. He’s also working with a few startups as an angel investor/advisor\, and is co-founder of Freo Startup Fest. \nLisa Smith\, Director\, Blow Your Own Mind\nLisa Smith is a Perth-based entrepreneur and is the Mastermind behind the recently launched P.I.V.O.T program\, the Small Business Development Corporation initiative funded by the WA State-funded recovery program. With a strong background in business development and mentoring\, Lisa brings much experience and skills to direct and coach people to grow their business by following certain fundamental business disciplines. \nAs co-founder of Blow Your Own Mind\, Lisa has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs\, as well as teams within organisations across a variety of sectors to help them understand their entrepreneurial mindset. \nLisa is a Master Practitioner of the Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile and believes strongly in self-development and enabling people’s capacity to learn; her aim is to instil true self-belief in everyone she comes into contact with. \nPaul Faix\, Founder & CEO\, Fortix | Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in Western Australia \nPaul has a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering and Information Management\, an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology\, and a Diploma in Business Management. \nPaul is an active member of numerous boards and advisory groups. He is passionate to achieve progress in all areas of business and social life. \nIn 2015 Paul set up a sporting event\, that was dedicated to raising money and awareness for children’s cancer in Western Australia. Working closely with Volleyball Western Australia the campaign attracted many of Perth’s businesses and raised over $10\,000 for children’s charities.
